Turck BI2U-EG08-AP6X-0.3-PSG3M is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-EG08 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It features a pre-wired 30cm / 12" pigtail PUR cable terminated with a 3-pin M8 Picofast threaded coupler nut male connector. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), and it offers a degree of protection of IP68. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -30°C to +85°C, and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA with no load, and it has a sensing distance of 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
