BI2-S12-AZ31X Description
Turck BI2-S12-AZ31X is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-S12 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (including nominal values of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, 250Vdc). The sensor is constructed with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) housing and sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. It features a pre-wired connection with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and is compatible with network frequencies of 50-60 Hz. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. This model includes 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire; 100mA max.), a sensing distance of 2mm, a control circuit rated current of 100mA / 0.1 A, an M12 thread size, and operates in NO (Normally Open) mode.
