BI2-S12-AN7X/S100 Description
Turck BI2-S12-AN7X/S100 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-S12 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) housing and sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. It features a pre-wired connection with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, offering an IP67 degree of protection. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +100°C, and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; TTL-compatible; 200mA max.). The current consumption is 10mA at no-load, with a sensing distance of 2mm. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
