BI2-Q5.5K-AP6X-0.2-RS4T Description
Turck BI2-Q5.5K-AP6X-0.2-RS4T is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q5.5 series, designed with a short barrel embeddable form. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a PP (Polypropylene) housing, a PP-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene) sensing face, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It features a pre-wired 20cm / 8" pigtail PUR cable terminated with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. This sensor has a 5.5mm thick short rectangular body and offers an IP67 degree of protection. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz and is suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 2mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a NO (Normally Open) mode.
