Turck BI2-Q4.7-AP6X-0.3-PSG3M is an inductive proximity sensor/switch within the BI...-Q4.7 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a die-cast Zinc alloy housing, a PA12 (Polyamide) sensing face, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It is connected via a pre-wired 30cm / 12" pigtail PUR cable that terminates with a 3-pin M8 Picofast threaded coupler nut male connector. This sensor has a 4.7mm thick rectangular body and offers an IP67 degree of protection. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and has an ambient air temperature operation range of 0°C to +85°C. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, and the cable length is 0.3 m. It provides 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 100mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 100mA / 0.1 A, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
