BI2-G12K-RP6X Description
Turck BI2-G12K-RP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-G12 series, designed with a short barrel embeddable form factor. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and a PVC cable jacket. It is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The shape is an M12 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel, ensuring an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 2mm. It is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
