BI2-G12K-AN6X Description
Turck BI2-G12K-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-G12 series. This sensor features a short barrel embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, along with a PVC cable jacket. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. Its shape is an M12 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. The maximum switching frequency is 2kHz / 2000Hz, and it operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, with a thread size of M12 and operates in a NO (Normally Open) mode.
