BI2-EGT08-AG41X Description
Turck BI2-EGT08-AG41X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EGT08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-55Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a PTFE-coated 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing, a PTFE-coated PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The M8 fully threaded barrel shape ensures easy installation, and it offers an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. The sensor supports a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It has one digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; low voltage drop; 100mA max.), with a sensing distance of 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated for a current of 100mA / 0.1 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
