BI2-EG08-VP6X Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck BI2-EG08-VP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It features a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), offering an IP67 degree of protection. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz and has an ambient air temperature operation range of -25°C to +70°C. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s. This model includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 150mA / 0.15 A, and it offers M8 thread size. The operating mode can be either NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) with complementary outputs.
