Turck BI1U-EH04-AN6X-V1331 is an inductive proximity sensor/switch from the BI...-EH04 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing with a PA12 (Polyamide) sensing face. This sensor is equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for connection and has a smooth cylindrical/barrel shape with a 4mm diameter, known as Picoprox. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C, with a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 100mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 20mA and a sensing distance of 1mm. The sensor provides protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 100mA / 0.1 A. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
