BI10R-Q14-AP6X2 Description
Turck BI10R-Q14-AP6X2 is an inductive proximity sensor/switch from the BI...-Q14 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a housing and sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0), with a cable jacket of Polyurethane (PUR). This sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a 14mm thick rectangular body with a 10mm ring, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor supports a maximum switching frequency of 8Hz and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. Its response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, and it includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 10mm, and it features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, operating in a Normally Open (NO) mode, and can detect objects sized between 2-10mm.
