BI10-S30-VP4X Description

Turck BI10-S30-VP4X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-S30 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a housing and sensing face made of PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) and an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, with a PVC cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M30 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s. This model features 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 10mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A. The thread size is M30, and it offers operating modes of NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
