BI10-P30-Y1X/S97 Description
Turck BI10-P30-Y1X/S97 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-P30 series. This ATEX compliant, embeddable sensor operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It features a PA12 (Polyamide) housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, and a TROGAMID end cap, along with a silicone cable jacket. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft silicone-jacketed cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It has an M30 fully threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection of IP67. The sensor supports a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has a sensing distance of 10mm, with a thread size of M30.
