BI1.5-HS865-Y1 Description
Turck BI1.5-HS865-Y1 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-HS865 series. This ATEX compliant, embeddable special version is designed without an LED indicator and features a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a 6.5mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape and offers a degree of protection of IP67. The sensor operates at a frequency of up to 5kHz / 5000Hz max. switching frequency and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has a sensing distance of 1.5mm.
