BI1.5-EG08-RD6X Description
Turck BI1.5-EG08-RD6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel housing, a sensing face and end cap made of PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide), and a PVC cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2-meter (approximately 6.5 feet) cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz (3000Hz) and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BI1.5-EG08-RD6X features one digital output (10-30Vdc; DC 2-wire; 100mA max.) and has a sensing distance of 1.5mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and it operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
