Turck BI1.5-EG08-AP6/S323 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed as an embeddable special version without an LED indicator. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing, a sensing face and end cap made of PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide), and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, and features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions, with a sensing distance of 1.5mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
