BC10-Q14-VN4X2 Description
Turck BC10-Q14-VN4X2 is a capacitive proximity sensor/switch that belongs to the BC...-Q14 series. It features a Qpak housing with top-sensing capabilities and is designed to be embeddable. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. It is constructed from PBT-GF30-V0, a glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate for both the housing and sensing face, and has a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. This model is pre-wired with a 2m (approximately 6.5ft) PUR cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It has a 14mm thick rectangular body and offers an IP67 degree of protection. The maximum switching frequency is 100Hz, and it can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensor includes 1 digital output (10-65Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 10mm. It features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and it supports operating modes of NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
