BC10-Q14-AN4X2 Description
Turck BC10-Q14-AN4X2 is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-Q14 series, featuring a Qpak housing with top-sensing capabilities designed for embeddable applications. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor is constructed from glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0) for both the housing and sensing face, with a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m (approximately 6.5ft) PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor has a 14mm thick rectangular body and offers an IP67 degree of protection. It supports a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor features one digital output (10-65Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 10mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
