This part of the FlexEdge DA70A Protocol gateways series features a configuration software accessible via Web GUI or Crimson, and includes networking software capabilities such as Firewall, RADIUS authentication, Routing, NAT, IP Fallback, and VPN Client-Server. It also supports automation software with over 300 drivers, IIoT connectors, and OPC UEA. The design incorporates 3 sled slots: slot 1 is equipped for 4G cellular connectivity in North America with AT&T, slots 2 and 3 each provide 1 x RS-232 and 1 x RS-485 connections. The connection interface includes 1 x RJ12 port for RS-232 serial communication, 2 x RJ45 ports for RS-485 serial communication, 2 x RJ45 ports for 10/100BaseTX Ethernet connections, 1 x USB type A and 1 x USB type B connectors, and 1 x micro SD card port for additional I/O expansion.
