VSM-2S4APD50-Q7 Description
Banner Engineering VSM-2S4APD50-Q7 is a photo-electric sensor designed with a stainless steel housing and P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65°C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features a single digital output (PNP transistor / IO-Link; 100mA). It has a response time of 500µs in normal mode, with fine and fast modes accessible via IO-Link for enhanced precision. The VSM-2S4APD50-Q7 utilizes the IO-Link communication protocol and is equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style QD M8 connector for connectivity. Its cylindrical smooth design has a diameter of 4mm, and it emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 630 nm. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal) and is designed in diffuse mode with a sensing distance of 0 to 50mm. It belongs to the VSM-2 series sub-range.
