VSM-2S4AND20-Q7 Description
Banner Engineering VSM-2S4AND20-Q7 is a photo-electric sensor with a stainless steel housing and P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features a single digital output (NPN transistor; 100mA) with a response time of 500μs / 0.0005 s. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style QD M8 connector for easy connection. The sensor has a 4mm diameter, cylindrical smooth shape, and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 630 nm. It is designed for diffuse mode operation with a sensing distance of 0 to 20mm. The supply voltage required for operation is 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). This sensor is part of the VSM-2 series.
