VSM-2M5RNR500-Q7 Description
Banner Engineering VSM-2M5RNR500-Q7 is a photo-electric sensor with a stainless steel housing and P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics, designed for a sensing distance of 0 to 500mm. It operates in a dark-ON mode with a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s and features a single digital output (NPN transistor; 100mA). This sensor is equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style QD M8 connector for connection and has an M5 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The VSM-2M5RNR500-Q7 operates with a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and emits a visible red light at a wavelength of 630 nm. It is part of the VSM-2 series and is designed as a through-beam system / opposed mode, functioning as a photo-electric sensor (receiver alone).
