VSM-2M5APD50-2M Description
Banner Engineering VSM-2M5APD50-2M is a photo-electric sensor designed with a stainless steel housing, P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics, and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65°C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features a single digital output (PNP transistor / IO-Link; 100mA). It has a response time of 500µs in normal mode, with fine and fast modes accessible via IO-Link for enhanced precision. The VSM-2M5APD50-2M utilizes the IO-Link communication protocol and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has an M5 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, operates at a wavelength of 630 nm with visible red light, and is designed for a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). This diffuse mode sensor has a sensing distance of 0 to 50mm and is part of the VSM-2 series.
