VSM-2M5AND50-Q7 Description
Banner Engineering VSM-2M5AND50-Q7 is a photo-electric sensor with a stainless steel housing and P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; 100mA) with a response time of 500μs / 0.0005 s. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style QD M8 connector for easy connection, and its M5 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape allows for straightforward installation. The VSM-2M5AND50-Q7 operates at a wavelength of 630 nm, emitting visible red light, and is designed for diffuse mode sensing with a distance range of 0 to 50mm. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is part of the VSM-2 series.
