VSM-2M5AND50-Q3 Description
Banner Engineering VSM-2M5AND50-Q3 is a photo-electric sensor with a stainless steel housing, P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics, and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; 100mA) with a response time of 500μs / 0.0005 s. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 15cm PUR cable terminated with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector. The VSM-2M5AND50-Q3 has an M5 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, operates at a wavelength of 630 nm with visible red light, and is designed for diffuse mode sensing with a distance range of 0...50mm. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is part of the VSM-2 series.
