SMI30AN6RYCQ Description
Banner Engineering SMI30AN6RYCQ is a sensor within the SMI30 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode "C" modulation frequency photo-electric sensor. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor functions as a receiver alone, encased in a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. The SMI30AN6RYCQ features a M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, a single digital output (NPN transistor), and is capable of sensing distances up to 60 meters. It operates with a light-ON mode, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and boasts a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s.
