SMI30RN6RQ Description

Banner Engineering SMI30RN6RQ is a sensor within the SMI30 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode "A" modulation frequency photo-electric sensor. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor features a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. The SMI30RN6RQ has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M30 thread size. It includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor), can sense objects up to 140m away, and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. The sensor's response time is 10ms / 0.01 s, and it operates in a Dark-ON mode.
