SMI306EYCQ Description
Banner Engineering SMI306EYCQ is a sensor within the SMI30 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode "C" modulation frequency photo-electric sensor. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor functions as an emitter alone, encased in a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The SMI306EYCQ offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. Its M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. With a sensing distance of up to 60 meters and a quick response time of 1ms or 0.001 seconds, this sensor utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm for detection, and it features an M30 thread size for mounting.
