SMI306ECQ Description
Banner Engineering SMI306ECQ is a sensor within the SMI30 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode "C" modulation frequency photo-electric sensor. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor functions as an emitter alone, encased in a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. The SMI306ECQ features an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, with a sensing distance of up to 140 meters. It utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 10ms or 0.01 seconds. The thread size for this sensor is M30.
