SME312D Description
Banner Engineering SME312D is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a diffuse mode TEACH mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The SME312D operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. The SME312D has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It features a sensing distance of 380mm and uses infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. The response time of the sensor is 0.5ms / 0.0005 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
