SM31RQDP Description
Banner Engineering SM31RQDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as the receiver alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The SM31RQDP operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. This rectangular sensor provides 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of 3 meters, utilizes infrared (IR) light, and boasts a response time of 1ms (0.001 s). It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
