SM312LV Description
Banner Engineering SM312LV is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The SM312LV operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and is mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The SM312LV has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It features a sensing distance of 5m and uses visible red light. The response time of the sensor is 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
