SM31RQD-34728 Description
Banner Engineering SM31RQD-34728 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM31RQD-34728 offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, ensuring its suitability for various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and is capable of sensing distances up to 3m with a visible red light. The sensor's response time is quick, at 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
