SM31RMHS Description
Banner Engineering SM31RMHS is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic material with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The SM31RMHS operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and offers a sensing distance of 3m. It utilizes infrared (IR) light, with a response time of 0.3ms / 0.0003 s, and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
