SM31REQD Description
Banner Engineering SM31REQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The SM31REQD offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It boasts a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape and provides one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is capable of sensing distances up to 3m and features an infrared light color with a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON options.
