SM31EQDP Description
Banner Engineering SM31EQDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic body with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The SM31EQDP operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The rectangular-shaped sensor has a sensing distance of 3 meters and utilizes infrared (IR) light, with a rapid response time of 1ms (0.001 seconds).
