SM31EPDQDP Description
Banner Engineering SM31EPDQDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The SM31EPDQDP operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. It has a rectangular shape, a sensing distance of 300mm, emits visible red light, and boasts a rapid response time of 1ms (0.001 s).
