SM312LVMHSQDM5V Description
Banner Engineering SM312LVMHSQDM5V is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a 5Vdc supply voltage and is mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The sensor can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12, ensuring its suitability for various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and can detect objects up to a distance of 5m. The sensor emits visible red light and has a response time of 0.3ms / 0.0003 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
