SM312LVM5V Description
Banner Engineering SM312LVM5V is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The supply voltage required for operation is 5Vdc, and it is mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -20 and +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12, making it suitable for a variety of environments. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is capable of sensing distances up to 5m and utilizes visible red light for detection. The response time of the sensor is 0.3ms / 0.0003 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
