SM312LVAGM5V Description
Banner Engineering SM312LVAGM5V is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a 5Vdc supply voltage and is mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The sensor can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and can sense distances from 55mm to 2m. The light color is visible red, with a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
