SM312LPQDP Description
Banner Engineering SM312LPQDP is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is capable of sensing distances from 10mm to 3m, uses visible red light, and has a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. The operating mode can be set to Light-ON or Dark-ON.
