SM312FVQDP Description

Banner Engineering SM312FVQDP is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor within the SM312 series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment for glass fiber. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with glass fiber material and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SM312FVQDP is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. This rectangular-shaped sensor features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), operates with visible red light at a wavelength of 650 nm, and has a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
