SM312FPM5V Description
Banner Engineering SM312FPM5V is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SM312 series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment for precise control. It is housed in a thermoplastic material with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. This sensor is designed for easy installation, coming pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for straightforward connectivity. It operates on a 5Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM312FPM5V offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, making it suitable for a variety of industrial environments. Its rectangular shape is complemented by a digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm, facilitating accurate detection and sensing tasks.
