SM312FPHQD-64522 Description
Banner Engineering SM312FPHQD-64522 is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor within the SM312 series, featuring potentiometer adjustment for precise control. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens and is designed for durability and longevity. It comes pre-wired with an 18" / 450mm pigtail terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It boasts a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, ensuring its suitability for various industrial environments. The rectangular-shaped sensor features a single digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), operates with visible red light at a wavelength of 650 nm, and offers a quick response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, providing flexibility for different application needs.
