SM312DQDMHS Description
Banner Engineering SM312DQDMHS is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -20 and +70°C. It offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and provides a sensing distance of up to 380mm. It emits infrared (IR) light and features a fast response time of 0.3ms / 0.0003 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
