SM312DMHS Description
Banner Engineering SM312DMHS is a photo-electric sensor within the SM312 series, featuring a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SM312DMHS is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and can sense objects up to a distance of 380mm. The sensor emits infrared (IR) light and has a response time of 0.3ms / 0.0003 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
