SM312DBZ Description
Banner Engineering SM312DBZ is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series featuring a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM312DBZ offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of 300mm, utilizes infrared (IR) light, and features a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON.
