SM30SRLMHSC Description
Banner Engineering SM30SRLMHSC is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with an "opposed mode" C modulation frequency. This sensor, part of the SM30 series, functions as a receiver alone and is housed in stainless steel for durability. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It is rated with an IP67 NEMA 6P degree of protection, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress. The SM30SRLMHSC has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M30 thread size, and it offers a single digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It boasts a sensing distance of up to 150m and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm. The sensor's response time is rapid at 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
