SM2A31RLEQD Description
Banner Engineering SM2A31RLEQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment for long-range detection. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. This sensor operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70 °C. The SM2A31RLEQD offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a variety of environments. It has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a sensing distance of 30m. The sensor utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 2ms / 0.002 s.
