SGSB4-400 Description
Banner Engineering SGSB4-400 is a reflector designed for automation applications, featuring a passive unit mirror/reflector assembly. It is constructed with an aluminium housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, complemented by thermoplastic end caps. This part is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It offers a protective height of 400mm and comes in a yellow housing. The SGSB4-400 operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, ensuring its suitability for various industrial environments. The reflector has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 52mm in width, 1281mm in height, and 57mm in depth. It features 2 beams with a 400mm beam spacing/pitch and includes 2 digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs). The sensing distance is effective from 50cm to 8m, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 950 nm and a response time of 30ms / 0.03 s.
